The mid bead on a Model 12 is not white, its copper or brass colored ... I looked at several Model 12's I have in the safe, none have white for a mid bead ... Mine are Pre 64, not sure if that changed when they went to the "Y" model ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Here is a link to a suitable substitute. I ordered several and put one on a Winchester 1200 rib. Fit just like the original. It is not white, it is brass.
