Which apartment sized over/under washer-dryer is the best. Please consider cost, size specs, life span, warranty, etc. Will be used by two old drifters.

Whatevr you do avoid Frigidaire---the dryer door seals & lint trap doesn't work

I have have had a maytag over and under for 10 years. Get the one that you have to turn the dials . The computer touch pad type have problems.

I have had my O/U Frigidaire for 9 years, it has had the element in the dryer replaced this spring.

Do get the one with the dials. Timers and such are cheap, digital pads are not.

Isn't here where someone is supposed to extoll the virtues of the side by side? Anyway, Mom had one I believe was made by Whirlpool that served faithfully for a number of years.
