There were headlines prior to this coming out that gun "dealers" were selling guns to the Mexican cartel and they should be restricted and punished then a whistleblower came out and revealed that this was clearly a gov't sponsered attack on our gun rights. I believe the Eric Holder could well end up in jail over this. Much worse than watergate because of the people killed not only American.

Mexican law enforcement was notified under the Bush operation when the gun smugglers were crossing into Mexico and F&F did not.

During F&F our agents even are supposed to have cleared obstacles for the smugglers when they crossed, Wide Reciever did not.

WR was to find the cartels and and F&F was to help a gun ban effort.

That's it then. Obama and Holder didn't do anything different than the Bush administration so we should just drop it. As for the dead people who will never receive justice, oh well. We don't measure by that standard anyway, we measure what should happen according to what the Bush administration did. It's no longer about justice, an objective entity, it's about fairness, a subjective thing as defined by the left. Always as defined by the left.

The WR program was dumped when the tracking devices were discovered and removed by the cartels.

Obama's F&F program restarted the failed WR program 2 years after WR ended, but F&F did not even attempt to arrest anyone, including the strawman purchasers and even assisted in "walking" the guns across the border.

Both programs were flawed and wrong, but they had different end result purposes and Obama is trying to blame Bush again for another failed Obama program. Bush took the blame for his failure and did not blame someone else for it.

In the first place, this "program" was intended by the administration as an assault on 2nd Amendment rights. The conclusion was to be that our gun laws are too lax and that we need more restrictive gun control. This is ALWAYS the Dem mantra. If it took a dead Border Patrol agent to accomplish this, well that's an acceptable price.

Secondly, it is most interesting that the Dems were quick to play the race card - Holderm was being persecuted because he is black. This is always appropriate when any black Dem is involved. They even did it to one of their own, Bill Clinton.

Thirdly, most Dems don't want to get at the truth. They want to sweep this under the rug or to divert our attention until this goes away. The truth can only hurt them. Why else claim "executive privilege"?

Fourth, the reptile, Pelosi and her ilk, will say that Holder is the target because the Repubs want to destry him so that they can surpress the minority vote. The woman is clinically insane! I think Michael Savage was correct; liberalism IS a mental disease!

Still want to vote for a Dem in November? Perhaps YOU need a Rorschack (sic) test.

The president has implicated himself by placing the documents in question under executive privilege. Only documents the president was involved with can be placed under executive privilege, so boy genius has just stated loud and clear that he WAS involved with Fast and Furious.

Duh! you screaming liberal -Blame Bush - BDS'ers. After the Mexican Government was notified, and the Wide Receiver tracked-guns went below the border - it is/was the Mexican Government's responsibility to track and collect them! Our Border Patrol Agents aren't even allowed to go armed below the border, let alone track and confiscate a Joint Task-force target.

Rick Barker is right about F&F not being merely the continuation of Wide Receiver as the Democrats would like us to believe.

If you get a chance to catch Katie Pavlich on CSPAN2 (BOOK-TV) it's worthwhile. She's the author of the book ‘Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and the Shameless Cover-Up.’

I suspect that if 100% of the records about this program and the DOJ's cover-up ever became public, it would be epic in its magnitude and political ramifications. Any doubts I had about this were laid to rest when Obama played his Executive Privilege card. There is absolutely no way he would have done that five months before an election if there wasn't something extremely ugly to suppress.
