Anyone had any luck lighten up a Beretta shotgun trigger. Short of sending it to a gunsmith. A friend has a 41/2 # trigger wants 3#.
Short of sending it to a qualified gunsmith? Tell him to push the gun forward a few inches as he pulls the trigger...it will feel like 3 lbs.
Otherwise a trip to someone who knows what they are doing is the obvious answer.
Dan Suggs is your answer. Done right and quick turn around.
Send it to Cole's gunsmithing in Maine.
TTT
+1 vote for sending it to Cole.
Third vote for Cole.
Grunt, tell your buddy to keep there, even heavier, at 3 lbs, the next thing will be flinching then a release trigger, have seen it a hundred times. incinerate em!
Pull the gun in tighter, the trigger will be easier to pull. Roy
big ben is right. 4 1/2 pounds is a pretty good weight. A lot of people don't know that a very light trigger pull is just as likely to cause a flinch as a very heavy pull. You can also get into safety issues, doubling, not resetting for the second shot, etc.
As your mother said when you got your first pimple: "Leave it alone, you'll only make it worse."
