Auctioneer, I don't think BigDon is watching TSC, he is practicing and preparing for the match. HE WILL BE THERE I'm sure. I've heard he has even employed a food taster for precautionary reasons, can't be too careful when the big event is almost upon us.

The good Dr may look harmless but I've been told he can be sneaky, in a proctor shooter sort of way, and you know protector shooters always have a partner that picks them up every once in awhile, I understand Don's need for an information black out at this time.

Brad,-- Does either the "Don" or the "Good Doctor" use a personal trainer ? Maybe a gun caddy? Personal advisor? I wonder if any shooting secrets are being scoped out by the other side. I have been told that in the old days of shooting "grudge matches". Each person or team would send out spys to see if they could find some secret weapon or trick Phycology to use against their opponent. I would imagine there will be high security in both camps as the match date draws nearer.

Being as old and feeble as he is I still have to say he is getting cold feet. I saw that pic someone posted with him needing a golf cart to get around. Soon it will be a wheelchair I'm sure. Are you sure he can hold up a gun without dropping it?

Usually old guys with nicknames such as "Big" anything, assuming Don is old, are grossly overweight and can't run anymore. So maybe he is working out to get ready for the match etc. He also told me to act like an adult; maybe he has a job as a volunteer study hall monitor somewhere to keep his spurious sense of self worth intact.

It sounds like we have the ingridients for several more grudge matches. This could turn in to a great little money making event for good causes at the state shoots, satelite grands and the grand. I cannot be at it the match on the 18th, but I hope to see a detailed report on here about it.

Here is the format for the "Grudge Match".

It will be a 50 target event. First trap will feature 25 targets from the 30 yard line trap is set at two hole and voice calls will be used. This is to simulate the proposed 30 yard line equalizer that folks have been talking about to level the playing field on handicap with the BIG DOGS.

Second trap will feature 3 hole targets from the 25 yard line set at 55 yards and hand pulled to simulate to "Good old days" that Dr. Longshot has been talking about for the past two years.

The honor of being the person to be the puller for the second trap will be auctioned off during the day as a silent auction. All proceeds from this event will go into our foundation for student scholarships.

I want to thank both BIGDON and Dr. Longshot for stepping up and making this happen.

The money from this event will go to the Ohio State Trapshooting Foundation. From there it will help to defray the cost of scholarships we give out each year. For the 2012 year we are giving out $ 11,000.00 in scholarships. Your support in this endeavor will allow us to grow this charitable work next year.

Brad Dysinger called me and let me know that I gave you incorrect information with regards as to where the proceeds from the "Grudge Match" go. We are splitting the proceeds between breast cancer research and veterans organizations.

Our 50 bird lewis class event will be included in the proceeds and all current and former veterans who participate in the 50 bird lewis event are automatically entered into a shoot off for 4 Wounded Warrior coins.

With all the activities we have planned looks like I will need to keep a score card with me to help answer any questions.

Hey Zoltan you were right and I was wrong, according to Roger Brenner our last OSTA meeting minutes everything up to 6 pm, the pink practice, the lewis shoot is to be split between the cancer and vets organizations, after 6, the grudge match, does indeed go to the OSTA foundation.

So if I haven't confused you all I have myself. BigDon and the good Doc will be supporting the youth as you stated.

Setterman, I do like the golf cart jousting idea myself, maybe it can be the tie breaker.

Thanks blade819 for the feedback. Brad Dysinger and Don Cogan told me about the "Grudge Match" and all of the OSTA folks including Jim Beasley from Tilden Trophies jumped on board.

We had a special belt buckle made for the loser. We have a really special prize for the winner which I will not reveal until we get ready to start the program.

As far as the program goes, wait until you see/hear the opening ceremony. It will be lots of fun. I won't tell you what it is but, I will tell you it does not involve scantily clad females or a pole.

As a benefit from the fun we will gather funds to help with our student scholarships next year. Your attendance and financial support in this endeavor will be greatly appreciated.

My PM works just fine for people I wish to hear from. You know the old saying "if I wanted to hear from an a**hole I'd fart". Well there you go. If you have something to say, say it. So far you haven't said anything.

I still want to know if you are gonna go introduce yourself to BIGDON as the voice of Auctioneer? He would sure enjoy that as would many others here. I already know the answer to that. Better yet, come to the Grand and introduce yourself to me. I'd enjoy that. I want to see what a little weasel you are in person.

APrice, you stated that there is little anonymity here. OK then if thats is so then why do most people here not post their name openly? You also wish not to post your name from what I see in your last post.

It is my right and my decision not to post my name and I don't see any rules that say anyone has to. Its my choice not to. But when others say I should and they are not then they are preaching and not doing as they preach.

He is baiting all of you guys. He knows full well what grntitan real name is. It has been on this site enough times that if he doesn't know it its his own fault. After all if he doesn't pay attention to the arguments he starts he has no one to blame but himself.

He has accused me of all type of despicable things and never posts his name. I post mine on every post I submit no matter what I say or who I say it to. As a matter of fact I post mine all the time and he still can't find the right records for me on the shooter information center.

I PROVED MY POINT 30 YARD WALKS WON'T FIX ANYTHING.

IF I HAD USED THE AA SUPER HANDICAPS ON THE 3 HOLE 55 YARD TARGETS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY BAD.

I USED SHELLS THAT WE USED IN THE 70s 3 DRAM 1200 FPS SHELLS AND IT SHOWS WHAT GOING BACK TO THE TARGET SETTINGS USED IN THE 70s WOULD BE LIKE.

MY AMERICAN MADE SILVER SEITZ WHUPASSED THE GERMAN KREIGHOFF K-80 OF HIS ON THE 30 YARD TARGETS, AND THANKS GOES TO TOM WILKINSON FOR HIS FINE BARRELL WORK

BUT I WILL ADMIT HIS MODEL 12 WITH HIS SHELLS WHICH I BELIEVE TO BE FEDERAL PAPER HDCPS ALMOST OVERCAME ME.

BUT AS A POSTER STATED HE HAD SHELL ADVANTAGE ON THE 25 YD. TARGETS

WE NEED TO GO BACK TO 3 HOLE TARGETS @ 55 YARDS AND PUT SKILL BACK INTO THE GAME USING 1200FPS SHELLS TOO.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT THIS IS WHERE THE SHORT YARDAGE SHOOTER WILL HAVE AN ADVANTAGE, I BELIEVE THAT HWOLE HEARTEDLY.

WHAT A GREAT SHOOT FOR THE CHARITY AND IT RAISED A LOT OF MONEY.
