SOLD==SOLD--Here is a very sweet custom 20 bore Side by Side. Back in the 50's-60's---Roy Vail of Warwick NY imported barreled actions from Belgium--we believe this is a Francotte action/barrels. He then finished them, blueing, engraving and stock work all by himself. He built about 400 guns total over the years and many were bolt action rifles. His shotguns are seen from time to time--but not very often. There is one now at Griffin & Howe like this one. The quality is really excellent and they are a great value when compared to guns priced like this one. This 20 ga weighs a svelte 5lbs 13oz. Roy liked grouse and woodcock guns and this one is made for that type shooting. It's bored skeet and improved cylinder with 26 3/8" length barrels. The bores are perfect. It is an ejector gun and all the mechanics are as they should be. It's nicely engraved with scroll and 2 gold inlays. The wood had good color and contrast and the LOP is 14 3/4" over the front trigger. The drops are 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. It has a slim straight grip and trim beavertail forend. It's lightning quick and shoots dead on! You will be pleased with this gun and it beats the heck out of the AYA 453's and Ugartechea's in this price range--not to mention the RBL's!! So--there you have it. An easy 90-95% gun. I'll deliver the gun in the lower 48 for THE BLOW OUT PRICE OF $2550. Compare it to the G&H gun priced 2K higher! Look around--this is bargain priced.
