Peerless never available in trap configuration, and Bowen never made an o/u that I'm aware of.

They make one now. All the bells and whistles, adjustable stock, rib, etc. plus it's a sidelock.

Mossberg has never "manufactured" an o/u, but they have put their name on a few. None were manufactured domestically.

H&R o/us were imports as well.

Charles Daly- Import. CZ- Import. Ruger- Never made a trap o/u (although they did make a trap unsingle, but no way to put o/u barrels on it).

Thanks for all the input. When I finally pop for a new shotgun I want to "Buy American" if I can. That isn't to suggest anything unsavory about guns made elsewhere. In fact, I often lust after the Ks, Ps, and Bs. Some American manufacturers are completely out of my financial league. Their products are awesome works of art. I just don't see myself laying out fifteen big ones at this stage of my life.

I have a CSMC RBL SxS that feels like it's part of me (fit). It is excellent for skeet - and some sporting clays. I just can't consistently break trap clays by covering the target. The Connecticut A10 catches my eye and I'm not rejecting the Kolars (used?). The day may come when more manufacturing returns to our shores, but I won't be holding my breath waiting for it to happen in my lifetime.

Larry

If I was younger and just starting out , I would get a Ljutic O/U but no at the new price tag of $19,000. There were a few on here for around $6-$8,000 used .
