"Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured...but not everyone must prove they are a citizen."
Ben Stein
That comes under the heading of, "What's wrong with this picture?" It reflects the hypocracy of a philosophy which is ends driven and inconsistant, filled with circular arguments. People know instincively that it is wrong but cannot express why. THAT is what the opposition counts on. FEELINGS matter more than facts. Reject that foolishness and insist of reason and facts.
Read the quote again. The first part contains the word "citizen" but does not define it. The second part ignores the premiss established by the word "citizen" in the first part. Illogical as are most liberal feel-good expressions.
How about the same goverment that exempts itself for the program? Hypocrites!
No matter how you spin it, it still rings true. Prove you are insured, but don't ask about citizenship. Can't change that no matter meaning how you spin it. People should memorize it and take it to the polls with them.
