I received three of Chuck's counters; They are really nice units! The counter is well made and is mounted out of the way of the index plate of a MEC. Chuck put a lot of thought and work into the hardware. I installed the first one in just a few minutes. I replaced a counter that sat right next to station #4, which was a pain if you needed to remove your hull for weighing, or problems.

No Sal, I don't believe there would be a problem since the counter works on the front side of the Loader. The counter will not interfere with the "Auto Mate" linkage which is on the rear of the loader.

I have a Mec 9000G with the large shot tube made by Basic Design Machine. I don't know if this is the same tube that Greevesman has or not. If you happen to know if it is, what would it cost to have one with the larger mounting bracket?

As far as the MEC, keep in mind it takes 105 pulls to equal 100 shells. Unless you continue to load, you'll always be off by 5 shells each time you stop and restart. BT100dc
There is a coupler in the operating chain. If you don't connect that coupler til there is a loaded shell at station 6 ready to exit the press, your count will be correct. problem solved.

I have a perfectly good counter however the little piece on the right side that the pin on my Spolar pushes on to index it has broken at the bottom. Would/could you sell me that piece alone?

Just got my counter yesterday and it works on my Spolar as well as the other machines. As a matter of fact it is the same brand I had before but with a better lever on the indexing shaft. Chuck is a super guy to do business with and I couldn't be more pleased. If you need a counter contact Chuck and he will help you out.

The counter for my MEC 9000H arrived today in the mail. It was well packaged and arrived intact. I mounted it on the reloader without any problems. You included good instructions and the photos helped with the assembly. Before mounting the counter, I operated it manually and it appeared to be very well made.
I have included a few photos for others to view. I appreciate the timeliness of a smooth transaction!

Those belong in the Rube Goldberg hall of fame. I like 'em. A counter on a "Rock Chucker"? But they are pretty creative.
Seems to me that you outta be able to count 50 rounds in a tray. LOL
I'm having fun designing these for you guys.
It's kinda like a way to keep my skills working in retirement.
