The Vernal Rod and Gun Club will be raffling off 5 guns this year at our June Shoot. 1st prize is a Kolar combo, 2nd is a Remington R-25 .308, 3rd is a Remington R-15 .223, 4th is Springfield XD-.45 pistol and 5th is a Remington 700 in 7mm. Tickets are $20 each and we hope to sell 1500 of them. Proceeds for this raffle are used to help pay for the free dinners we provide at our shoots. The drawing will be held the evening of June 9, 2012 and winners will be posted on our website(vernalgunclub.com). If you would like to purchase tickets for the raffle please send a self addressed stamped envelope to PO 35 Vernal Utah 84078. Make checks or money orders out to VRGC. I will fil out the tickets purchased and return a copy of them to you along with your stubs. Thanks in advance to all of you who help us out with our raffle and good luck!!! Oh please include your phone number so we can give you a call if you win.

Got mine at Tucson. Not only did I get my raffle tixs but what an improvement to TT&SC. A big THANK YOU to the Martins. Had a good shoot for the prelim week and Spring Grand week. Really looking forward to Vernal, my next big shoot then to Colorado State shoot.

Rick, we have plenty left. We'll be selling them at the shoot, so yeah that works great. By the way this gun raffle in no way benefits the Martins, however, without them we probably wouldn't be having one this year. Bill and LeeAnn donated the Kolar combo that we are giving away this year. They have asked for nothing in return ( no surprise here) and the proceeds are used by the Vernal Rod and Gun Club ( which by the way, the Martins do not own) to help pay for our free dinners and our trophies. Sorry for the delay in responding to the last few posts. I was in San Antonio last week for the SW Grand and just got back to town. Well, I won the 2d prize,a R25 .308 first thing I ever had won that was worth something. I would give it up in a second for my brother Carl to have just a little good time left. He is ready to go, up to the good Lord when. That ALS really takes everthing away from you. Very hard to understand his speech now and his breathing is real real bad.
