I think you are painting with a pretty wide brush without having the knowledge or facts with which to complain like this.
A universal response from parents of the "harrased" is.... "Not my kid!"
I too was confronted by local police as a young soldier. However it was only after I had consumed substances that altered my behavior and warranted attention by them. During my 20 years in uniform, in various nations around the globe, my contact with local law enforcement was due to something I did to bring attention to myself. My last 20 years out of uniform has resulted in the same scerino. Thank your boys for serving in our Military. I'm sure as they mature through their journey in life the meetings with LEOs will become less frequent. May God bless and keep them safe. Jake Jacobs 1SG US Army retired.
