Ok, I know that a lot of you folks know each other personally but a lot of us do not know you, (YET).
Anybody have a good idea of a spot or a time and location at the grounds a lot of us could meet for a soft drink or just conversation ?
After shooting times or at the bleachers during evening shootoffs ? Come on someone has to think this is a good idea..... We read each others posts, and want to meet the person who writes here... Any ideas ?
In the Event Center, main building is where a lot of people gather to read the boards, collect free information, view the trophies, shop at the ATA store and use the restrooms and don't miss the silent auction! The restaurant and fast service counter are great too. And it's air conditioned!
Come on folks what I am trying to do is get someone who is familiar with the grounds and activities to suggest a place and time and some folks from here to get together ... Just not fair that some of us don't know a lot of you yet....

sounds like a great idea. ill be there from the first weekend to the end just name a place and time ill be there.
Well am I correct? there will be shootoffs each night in front of the grandstands on the vendor end of the complex ? Anyone have any ideas on which night at what time ?
Alot of the Perazzi shooters meet at Giacomo Sporting.. Joey Hill.. myself..Dan..Doug and all of the Perazzi shooters welcome you to come by and visit.. In the afternoon when things slow down.. I answer alot of receiver questions..and general questions about Perazzi's.. Their care and maintainence.. Dan also helps..if he has time.. Doug is our wood expert and does fantastic finishing,bluing and general repair.. He's happy to aid in your restoration projects.. Also.. if anyone is buying a Perazzi..and wants me to look at it..even if its not ours.. I'm happy to..and give you a quick evaluation of what you're looking at..and possibly an estimate to bring it to its best..if it needs anything.. Hope to see you all there.. Mike
Anyone remember the Bud/Miller tent.Every day good times. Have you been to the Bud tent the last 4or5 years? There is no one there. I will be there Aug. 12,13,14. Lets all meet at the Bud tent 3 pm Friday Aug. 13 Someone make a sign so we can identify. [hoov] Pgh. PA.
Ps, I think they also have soft drinks in that area.
We really should have a ts.com tent. I would take this on this year, since I probably cannot shoot, except for the fact that I am disabled at the moment and would not be able to stand for very long. So I can't do much.
Actually, Martin told me today that he thinks I shouldn't really travel that far yet, as surgery was just last week.
But I agree, we should have a ts.com party. I'll do that next year.
Maybe a TS.com Octagon....
I will be there Monday and Tuesday of the second week, sounds like a great idea to me.

I have been wearing my TS.com hat each year at the Grand and have been amazed at how little interest it seems to invite.
I know I am not pretty, but do fit the trapshooter mold, a little short for my weight.
I think that most of those that post on ts.com prefer to remain unknown.
I will probley only be able to make a day trip to the Grand this year, and leave the trailer at home .

Can I come by to say hi Mike even tho I'm a low-rent 3200 shooter and not a big time Perazzi guy? I do hail from Louisiana tho and own a 1911... Does that get me in the door? Looking forward to meeting you face to face finally.
I suspect one has a better than probable chance of spotting DPR and Hard Shot at the Bud tent on more occasions than just Fri the 13th @ 1500... After all, Dave loves his cold refreshing beverages and Osker has been known to relish his vittles. They also both love to BS and have a good time.
I do believe we should make the "Idiots Lately" bunch sit at a separate table as they are likely contagious.
Get better soon Devi.. This looks to be the first Grand in the last 4 years that I won't enjoy your company.
Youall can't miss me, I'm the tall goodlookin, but very humble one with a funny tan and a lovely red headed Browning diva on his arm.

Barry, it might have to be at the camper, and that's IF I get to go. Martin thinks the doc is not gonna let me travel. If we do get to travel, I might be not be mobile enough to go more than a few feet from our camper.

OK, the doc says that we get to go to the Grand. Barry, if you and a few other people can help with cooking and clean up, I can provide the venue. Shall we have a get together on Sunday morning? What time does the program start?
OK, y'all will have to scavenge some chairs, too. We have a few, but it looks like we will be needing more.
