The last I heard it was a young woman who shot him and was wounded herself. I hope to find out her condition. What a courageous gal.

The Police woman who shot the killer is Kimberly Munley, she shot him 4 times.

Does his last name surprise anybody? He was being deployed to Afghanistan and was vehemently fighting his deployment. (a Muslim sent to kill other Muslims? check their religion, it doesn't happen)The FBI had been monitoring his blog site for the last 6 months. We hear that so often AFTER the tragedy occurs. When you post rhetoric that clearly supports violence and hatred your ass should be arrested immediately, not after the incident.

The time has come to stop tip toeing around OTHER peoples rights and get a firm grip on our rights and safety.

I have known for years that our own politcal correctness will bring down the West. As long as liberals have us all brainwashed and are running everything including our government and our courts we will continue our descent. They even run our military. Even this new health care bill is full of PC crap not to mention the cap and tax bill pulling us into paying world taxes to a world government. My biggest disappointment is with our churches. I would expect them to stand up to the lies. Talk radio is doing the job the churches are too scared to do.

Obama already stated "we are no longer a Christain nation" and religious freedom is only to those how don't preach about Christian values.

IRS law on tax-exempt status of churches; if your pastor preaches against political issues from behind the pulpit, and someone tells the IRS, you lose your exemption.

Again, if you don't preach about Christian values and faith, that law is never put into action against you.

Just look at what they (left wing extremist) have done to the troops, "you can't pray in the name of Jesus, because you might affend someone" but go out there and KILL everyone you see on the battle field! as it should be!

There are more "liberal" churches then there are "God Fearing" churches in America today, sad but true!

It's a good thing we have local female cops to protect our fighting men on base, they are not permited to carry.

Since none of them are allowed to carry weapons it makes you wonder how many would have been killed if they had been attacked by several terrorists at once with more than pistols. A mass killing shouldn't happen on a military base with one soldier with 2 pistols.

As a retired military police officer if any of the victims were civilian Texas gets the first crack at him. Then the military their death sentence is hanging cheapest form. Also if the Army keeps him it will not be federal prison but a military one and they will bust his a** for as long as they let him live. They don't work like a civilian prison he won't have all the rights

I don't know all the regulations for a military camp such as Fort Hood, but why can't our inlisted men carry on base. Damn,it seems to me that if anybody should be armed for God's sake, it is our military personnel. This has upset me to the max and hooray for the civilian police gal who called him out!!

Maybe if he lives, he will tell us exactly what he was doing and then we can let Obama know what's up in this country. I am sooooo mad.

The old American Indians used to have good ideas, dig a pit, put someone in it, pour something sweet over their head and let the pests and animal life have a go at them. Seems we should take a lesson from the original Americans of our country and try some of thier recipes out.
