Not that fond of the paint job and didn't understand removing the checkering, but love the appearance of the metal (even if you couldn't shoot, with the reflection).
It's sorta like bronzing your baby shoes.

I have been thinking buying about these too. Then I decided I could get an H&R topper, pry one of those chrome women from a truckers's mudflap and glue it to the stock. I would still have a classy shotgun & save a boatload of cash to pay for the practice that I am in dire need of.
Bet he even built that on Government Time.
I bet there are some sub jr. and jr. shooters who would really like these. If I was 15 again they would be mine!!!
Those are two classic Trap guns. All that chrome would be distracting to me. Not my cup of tea. It would be worth it to me to have them restored to original wood and blue.
I think you might be able to sell them to Mikey Tuetul.
I dont know kinda torn on the topic I think they look very nice as does the Crown Royal Remington That Jerry O. shoots. Just kind of reflects the shooters personality I guess.
