A shooter I know has to use shells that are 11/8 oz @ 1300FPS, in order to cycle the 2nd shot. What does he have to do to get the gun to work with 1200fps or lighter. The gun is a super black eagle ll.

I am no expert on these but it seems like they either work or they don't. I know mguys who can shoot standard 3 dram trap loads(1200fps) andguys who have to shoot at least 3 1/4 dram to get them to cycle.

there is a lighter return spring for light loads out there.

mine will run 7/8oz loads with 17gr promo, but not 16gr.

a break in period of a couple cases 3dram helps,

you can grease up the bolt head extension in the bolt carrier.

all together will help alot.

Wolff reduced power action spring. Should cycle just about anything. DO NOT shoot 3 1/2"s with the reduced power spring..

The Wolff stock # for the Reduced Power Benelli spring is: 16096. Brownell's has it. My SuperSport will shoot 3/4 oz. loads using this spring.

The Benelli 12 was designed to shoot 1&1/8 loads or more. Not sure why anyone would want to shoot 3/4 loads 12 gauge in an auto. Why not just shoot a 20 gauge. Mike

I guess I should have said the benelli needs 1 & 1/8 load to cycle ,fps not as important. Mike
