Yes. Side ribs haven't fallen off of my K gun yet. Sporting doesn't require more swinging if you don't let the target beat you.
I have several of each I prefer the K 80 for trap feels like a tank works great. I shoot a Perazzi for sporting faster gun swings better for sporting as the game requires lots more swinging. Surly feel lucky to have both funny thing I shoot a release for trap and a pull for sporting and have a Beretta 303 as a backup gun and can shoot it just as good as the hi priced spread for either game just switch triggers.
being blessed with owning a few both now, no question, k- guns best quality, best finish, best most durable bluing,problems no thousands of targets problems before annual inspection, etc. P guns, competion, bring another set of trigger groups when the leaf springs break during competion, in trap,yoiu have no time to fix, between shots, no big deal , just 800.00 to 1000.00 more. When in serioues competion, if you own a p-gun, be prepared, they are great guns, many shooters shoot them well, incinerate em!
It's all personal preference. You will have to shoot both to find out what is right for you. Perazzi is used heavily in Olympic games and trap. Krieghoff dominates American Skeet. In Sporting clays it is about 50/50. In pigeons, Perazzi over Krieghoff.

Perazzi and PFS stocks are synonomous!!
I have owned and shot a couple of Perazzi TM-1's, a Perazzi TMX. I have also owned 2 K-80's a Krieghoff model 32 and a Krieghoff Ks-5. All are fine guns. The Krieghoffa are heavier but do swing fine. The Perazzi's are lighter and swing very fast and easy. Perazzi owners seem to have a need for carrying a spare trigger with them Krieghoff owners do not. I have NEVER had an issue with a Krieghoff trigger and I do not get an annual annually. Not even close.My own preference is the krieghoff but do not take this as a smack in the face to Perazzi as mentioned above both are fine guns it is what YOU like in a gun that should help you to decide. I have a K-80 and a TM-1. The Krieghoff is a tank, the Perazzi is a Ferrari. They're both great, just in different ways...
Maybe the Germans oughta switch to a real gun like Krieghoff as their success in the 2008 Olympics was about zero. Krieghoff is now making significant inroads into international competition!!

I've owned both and several of both. I'm going back to Ljutic. Ljutic's fit me better. Could not get Perazzi or Krieghoff's to fit, however, I am left handed. Both fine guns with nice swing dynamics but prefer Ljutic. Ljutic will fit me at the factory. I own a MX10RS at this time that will be for sale with a left hand stock. Just doesn't fit right. Had my Krieghoff's cast on but still didn't fit right. You will probably like either if you are right handed. I did like the Krieghoff trigger over Perazzi. Shoot both and then decide. Krieghoff did seem a bit barrel heavy but moved to the target just fine.
Thats right the K guns come with great triggers no need to spend thousands. LOL. Both are great guns. Jeff

Well, i have had both and shoot the P gun, i am just the opposite of Sterlingworth, the K gun feels heavy and does not swing as easy as the P gun "for me" . Like old goat says, the one YOU shoot the best is the best, be it H&R, B,B, K, P, L, R, W, gun. Joe
Both guns can be made to any weight or balance that you want, if you buy new. Likewise the stock can be ordered to your specs if you buy new. So performance wise there is very little difference.
If you are looking at a used gun then you should be aware of the specs of the gun you are picking up.

pardon me, but this is a completely stupid question. Even if you get any semi-meaningful answers, what criteria was used and how was it evaluated. Like asking, who do you like better, Elmer Fudd or Daffy Duck. And, you're looking for a mature answer to an immature question! LOLOL...
I have both and to tell the truth there both great guns. That being said I prefer the Krieghoffs. They feel a bit lighter and for me swing better and faster. As far as the annual service goes Ive had my first one over 30 years ,dont know how many shell thru it,with never a "service" preformed. I guess I got a good one..Ray p/s just sold my last perazzi.
They are both great guns. Krieghoff recommends annual maintenance and it is easy for a shooter to replace the leaf springs in a Perazzi by himself.
