for the padded cover to be able to slide on and off all mounting must be done at the base of the frame. It is possible that the swivel base could be mounted to a cart frame. Although this would leave the guns as the widest point of the cart, making them vunerable to damage.

Can the soft cases be made to attach to the sidebars that come down on each side of a golf cart windshield?

After having my guns fallout of gun racks or be scratched up by carriers with little or no padding I have built my own carriers for UTVs and shooting buggies. The frame is all alumium, making it srong but light weight as well as rust proof. The padded gun support is made of Codura nylon with 3/4 inch foam covered with automotive seat cloth on the inside. The padded support slips on to the frame so it can be easily removed when not in use. There are 2 velcro lined nylon straps to secure the guns on each compartment. I only have the blue with silver pads at this time, Should have green with black trim avaiable next week. Custom colors can be made up to your desire. The price for a frame and pad $220.00. The swivel base mounts are $30.00 for a setof 2.The Frame tube is 1 inch by 2 inch tubing and would work with rugged gear mounts by redrilling the holes.
