The IETA is gaining more speed so we can put on a better Inland Empire Handicap shoot May 17-20. We now have 21 clubs in the Association and more are joining every week. AND the WSTA has approved the Magnums for all three handicaps!!

Laura, Has the Inland Empire made a target decision? I really hope they decide NOT to throw BIO targets as Walla Walla has decided to do. I suspect this decision by Walla Walla will prove to be a very bad one when as it pertains to registered target shooters. Please let me know when you decide so I can make my plans. thanks, Jim Bauer

The club knows the traps need attention and are addressing that issue. Myself and another person is considering taking the repair course on Pat Traps when that comes up - hopefully this Spring.

I called the Pat Trap distributor in California and they do not give classes anymore. But I have a possible lead on a fellow in the Cottage Grove area in Oregon - see where that goes.

Quick update on the Inland Empire Handicap shoot in Spokane --the Inland Empire Trapshooting Association is on track for having over $11,000 in added money in the shoot. See us on Facebook at Inland Empire Trapshooting Association.
We are re-building this historic shoot (over 96 years old) back up again and it will be fun AND average shooter friendly. Check it out! It's May 17-20 this year.

Spokane Gun Club has gone through all of the Pat Traps, serviced them and have even taken the time to reposition the traps to exactly where they should be in the house. This last weekend shoot threw great targets, pulls were on time and it was a pleasure to shoot.

The shoot was a lot of fun. Lots of good scores (not mine). All the volunteers worked hard and the effort was obvious and much appreciated.
I am looking forward to 2013.
